1. The association developed a plan to improve structure of the buildings which included:
a) completely replaced roofs in both buildings

| Q. |
Please provide an explanation of the immediate steps your community plans to take in the event of the disaster. |

In the event of a pending disaster the most important objective is to have sufficient time to be totally prepared and notify all owners. The entire hurricane safety program is described in the brochure for the staff and residents before the disaster. |

All our employees have been provided with I. D. cards issued by the Town of Palm Beach Police Department that allows them to return to work in 3360 as soon as permissible.
There is a procedure in place that will allow the condominium to operate very effectively. Our staff will be divided by groups. Each group will assess and record any damages on specially designed forms for every unit.
The management will notify all contractors to be on stand-by in case needed.
|
| |
| Q. |
How has this information been presented and made available to residents? |
| |
After the staff goes to every unit and all common areas the forms are brought back to the office where management will contact each resident, explain any damages and take corrective action as soon as possible to minimize and eliminate further damage. |
| |
| Q. |
What steps are in place to ensure the procedures are followed? |
| |
Every year residents receive our hurricane disaster plan prior to their departure.
Our staff is making sure the procurers are followed by checking each unit prior to any storms and recording it.
|
| |
| Q. |
How have you evaluated the plan for effectiveness? |
| |
Since the plan has been in place we are constantly evaluating and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that our plan covers all aspects of a hurricane emergency. |
| |
| Q. |
You may include additional information about the community that you consider relevant to the topic. |

Before the hurricane season begins management conducts staff meetings evaluating and updating all procedures. Management is making sure our staff is cross-trained for all hurricane preparedness tasks.
Prior to the hurricane season we prepare in advance by taking down the windscreens on the tennis courts and remove glass from the gazebo area. We reduce the amount of chairs, umbrellas and lounges on the pool deck and tennis court. We continuously inspect to make certain we are as secure as possible. Before this hurricane season we are going to consult our hurricane preparedness plan with Palm Beach Fire and Police Departments.
